New “Worship in Any Weather” Policy
Worshipping together is a key means of receiving God’s Grace. The Session wants to make every effort to make this opportunity available to our members and friends. We also want everyone to be safe. Therefore, at its February meeting the elders voted to hold Sunday School and Worship “No matter what”. This means that the church will be open every Sunday 9:15 – 11:30 for study and worship for any and all people who can make it safely to church. On bad ice and snow days, the only door to be shoveled and de-iced will be the main elevator entrance and the entrance to Friendship Hall on 3rd St. As a congregant, or even as a teacher, or worship leader, please use your own discretion about how to stay safe and warm in bad weather. We know you can join us in the Spirit through your own prayers and praises and we will all work together to cover those that need to be absent. But rain or shine, ice or snow, we will hold study and worship as large or even a very small group each and every Sunday.
“No matter what.”
