How Do I Get Involved?
Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at First Presbyterian Church of Ellsworth.
Music Program
We have a wonderful music program here at the First Presbyterian Church of Ellsworth! There are many ways you can get involved or just simply enjoy the ministry of music. We have a children’s choir which will perform during the school year. If choir is your passion, everyone is welcome! Practices are Wednesday evenings at 7:00 in the sanctuary. Or just come and enjoy the wonderul music of our praise band! There are so many ways to get involved or simply enjoy!
Media & Technology
Using media to spread the word is a privilege of First Presbyterian Church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible to benefit the congregation. Enjoy our website to keep up to date on activities or simply enjoy the PowerPoint presentation during worship. If you have sight or hearing limitations please contact an usher and they will assist you.
Email Prayer Chain
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. To be added to our email prayer chain list please contact fpc405@eaglecom.net
Children’s Ministry
Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction.
Jr./Sr. High Youth
Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships. And a whole lot more decisions. The young adult group of Grace Community Church provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people.
Women’s Group
First Presbyterian Church’s Groups gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups are times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church. Circle meets at 1:30 p.m. in Friendship Hall on the second Thursday of the month. Women’s Bible Study meets on Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Contact the office for more information!
